Statement
by Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton

Updates
and Continuing Providences
This section focuses upon
the further providences which have occurred in association
with my studying, writing and telling of the parallels between
the Chamberlain story and Revelation 12 and related prophecies
of the Bible.

Again, it is freely admitted
that if just an occasional parallel occurred between the elements
of the Chamberlain drama and the elements of the prophetic
allegory of Revelation 12, it would not set apart the Chamberlain
story as anything outside of the ordinary, for all of us could
find something in our experience that is touched upon in the
history of this world as summarized and implied in Revelation
12.
Likewise, it is freely admitted
that in my study and telling of the parallels case, an occasional
providence bearing relation to my work could be attributed
to chance. Folks, that is not how it has been! Without
fail, every forward move I have made in understanding
and telling the parallels case in relation to the Azaria Chamberlain
story, is associated with “coincidences” bearing
direct relation to my focus of attention. This phenomenon
I find to be extremely sobering. I know the “coincidences”
are not coincidences, but parallels initiated or permitted
by Providence. Following are some of other such happenings.

“Providence”
Defined. Gr. pronoia, “forethought,”
“provident care.” This word seems to be used only
once in the King James Version of the Bible. Tertullus, opening
his speech of accusation against Paul, begins by flattering
the Roman governor Felix. “… Seeing that by thee
[Felix] we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds
are done unto this nation by thy providence.”
Acts 24:2.
God alone has absolute foreknowledge,
and handles foreknowledge totally responsibly, with absolute
love, and with all power. So the word “providence”
has a special application to God’s works large and small
to bring us to salvation. The two angels at each end of the
mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant represent God’s
ministering angel hosts whose appointed work it is to arrange
and bring providences to pass. In association with happenings
in human history, angels are mentioned from beginning to end
in the book of Revelation. We can know and be sure that Providence
is overseeing the happenings of history recorded and prophesied
in the book of Revelation. In the unseen world God's holy
angels are in fact engaged in a warfare against Satan and
his evil hosts.
Revelation 12 is introduced
by a view of the Ark of the Testament in heaven. We can specially
expect in Revelation 12 to see God’s holy angels warring
against Satan’s evil hosts, to bring providences to
pass which will aid God’s work in bringing the fallen
to redemption. The angels take their orders from Christ who
is Priest and High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary, where
God’s throne is situated. In mercy and love Christ,
still fully God, took His place as the second Adam and head
of mankind. Even so Christ, still fully God, in mercy and
love has taken His place as head of the angel order. In that
capacity, He is in the Bible called “Michael.”

A prime example in Revelation
12 of the close relationship between happenings in the seen
and the unseen worlds, is the description of the red dragon
stalking the pregnant woman of light, intent on devouring
her child as soon as it was born. The red dragon was prevented
from killing her baby, a “Man Child.” This is
the war in the unseen world, but still history. The "seen"
side of this history is told in Matthew. “Then Herod,
when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding
wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were
in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years
old and under, according to the time which he had diligently
inquired of the wise men.” Matthew 2:16. Because of
his continued resistance to the call of God upon his life,
Herod lost His protection by God and became a tool or weapon
in the hand of Satan, the angry red dragon seeking to kill
baby Jesus. That's what Revelation 12 makes clear.
Providence warned the wise
men in a dream not to return to Herod. An angel of God in
a dream warned Joseph and Mary to take baby Jesus and flee
to Egypt till it was safe to return. Besides special dreams,
Providence can speak and work in numerous other ways to answer
the prayers and needs of God’s children. He works today
as in Bible times.
God
Often Uses the Unlikely. My conviction is
that it was Providence who set me in place then launched me
on a journey to discover, study and tell the parallels between
the elements of the Lindy Chamberlain trial and Revelation
12 and related prophecies of the Bible. Others in places high
and low appear to have noted something of this parallels case.
But circumstances in my life have pushed me to commit myself
to a special focus upon the parallels’ phenomenon. I
am an ordinary Australian, nobody of particular significance.
But God only asks for willing hearts. He used the child Samuel
to speak to the priest Eli, young David with his sling shot
to bring down Goliath, and even a donkey to speak to the wayward
prophet, Balaam. Jesus once said to the Pharisees who asked
Him to rebuke His disciples, “I tell you that, if these
should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry
out.” Luke 19:40.
Psychologists, scientists,
sociologists, theologians, doctors, lawyers, - the wise men
of the world have made valuable contributions to learning.
They have also made their share of monumental mistakes. Revelation
12 places even the most learned of our number under the Creator
God. He alone is infallible. A child surrendered to Jesus
may enter His kingdom before a thousand scholars with Ph.D.
after their name. Whether I judge God’s call upon another’s
life or upon my own, I know it is presumptuous and unbelieving
to dictate what He can and cannot do in the work of taking
the gospel of Jesus’ love to the world.
A
Stone Cries Out. I believe the Creator-God
by means of the Chamberlain drama, has caused a great stone
in Australia to come out of the “dreamtime” of
the past and cry out a message to the prophesied eschatological
or endtime crisis of this earth’s history. And it is
not in God’s plan or the public interests that those
entrusted with the light should hold their peace. There’s
a dreamtime in the future—eternity with God in paradise—that
will not be anybody’s destiny, unless they separate
from a host of deceptions a lying red dragon has thrown across
their pathway.
And, lest anybody think too
seriously about an earthly element rather that the biblical
and spiritual truth to which it points, God can allow object
lessons to occur at other rock sites, too. See Point 2 above.
“Miracles
Come on the Go.” Not until the Israelites were
committed to stepping into the Red Sea did the miracle of
the escape pathway through the “deep” happen.
How God has to work sometimes, to bring us to a position where
we are ready to exercise the faith He requires.
“The miracles of God
come on the ‘go’.” The “GO”
for me commenced with a church trial in 1991-92, which in
1993 set me in place to study "the parallels case."
